This blog even how much I would like you to buy my inspirational book is not about that. My hobbies are computers (since 1978), writing (since 1943), photography(since 1946), Movies and Videos making (since 1955) and the most recent one, Radio Controlled Helicopters or Drone flying. I am planning to buy a Phantom 2 Quad Drone but to practice before spending a lot of money, I bought a inexpensive UDI U181A Quad with a built in cheap camera to practice. After every session I started to fly it better until yesterday, see the Bulletin and also the video I made of this event. Until the next blog, wishing you all good health and good luck. Keep on reading and try a few sample chapters for free, gratis, without spending one red cent of my latest book, Polynesian Dreams, all my proceed go to charity. Johan van Oldenbarneveld.
BULLETIN:
Plane crash in Menifee. No
survivors.
At approximately 9:00 am at the Peterson
Park on Murrieta street in Menifee a Radio Controlled Drone piloted by a John
Van Olden crashed into a chain fence causing considerable
damage.
The pilot, John Van Olden, aka GERIATRIC
STAR, immediately contacted the distributor on the drone and ordered a new
one.
According to John, he made a successful
landing in a grassy area but on the way at retrieve the drone and getting it
ready for its next flight he inadvertently activated the throttle and the drone
lifted up, out of view and after an extensive search of one hour, a dog walker
notified the pilot and owner that the drone was ensnared in aforementioned
fence. One motor and prop was completely destroyed. The severely damaged drone
will be put in its hangar and perhaps the parts will be salvaged for future
repairs. It might be worth mentioning that the FAA will probably contribute this
disaster due to pilot error.
