Hallo Blog friends:
Writing a book is not one of the
easiest things to do. Yet there are many people that do it. Go to any library,
shelves upon shelves of books greet you. Books about any subject, some fiction,
some nonfiction, some books on how to grow a garden, how to built a piece of
furniture, books about cars, about religion, the list is simply endless. Now
there is something completely new. Electronic books you can simply download and
read on your tablet, Ipad, Ipod, laptop, desktop or even on your smart phone.
How many books are there on the electronic bookshelf? Estimates are over two
million. Now the author has the job not only of writing his masterpiece but
publishing it on Kindle, Nook, Kobo, WaveCloud or many other publishers. His
job also calls for advertising, promoting, in short, anything to make his epic
stand out over the rest of the pack. As the author of Polynesian Dreams, this
has become my task. My book, biased as I am, is a terrific read. It is filled
with adventure, romance, yes sex, but most of all it is inspirational. It shows
you by example how to become your best friend. Years ago there was a bestseller
titled, Looking out for number one. My book would fit this category. Yes so many are not their own best
friend but you could call them their own worst enemy. This is the main theme of
Polynesian Dreams. I am making several short videos each month and posting them
on the social media. My greatest home is for the book to be discovered. As a
unknown, unpublished author, your chance of an major established literary agent
or publisher to be discovered are close to zero. You need to be inventive, the
short videos are my method of bringing Polynesian Dreams to the attention of
prospective readers. It cost only $3.79 with my proceeds going to an Animal
Shelter. Look for the sample chapters at any of the electronic publishers.
Thanks again for your attention.
