I would love to blog about something else then my book, Polynesian Dreams but this is difficult because I am so committed to it. Why, you asked, is that? Don't you donate the proceeds so it cannot be about making money? What is so important to you that you want people to read your book?

I will tell you about why! My book, beside writing about seeing WWII in Holland through the eyes of a scared and bewildered 10 year old, his world travels in the Dutch Navy and Merchant Marine, his coming to America his US Army service in Germany as an MP and a CID agent, deal with addiction. There are the most talked about addictions like drugs and alcohol but there are many others, sex and food for instance. Polynesian Dreams was written with the intention of helping people get rid of addictive behavior.In the book I am led by my personal spirit guide. Far out! No, because I am not special, everybody has a spirit guide, that manifests itself in many ways but it is there. You could use the word inner voice instead spirit guide. This inner voice was always there, even when you were still very young. However, you have to learn to listen to it. When you do things begin to happen, if you ignore the voice inside of you beware it can have consequences you come to regret. The world is filled with people who choose to not to listen to the inner voice, or were not aware that there it was there to guide them through their life. If you finish reading Polynesian Dreams you will be aware of its existence, will you choose to listen? That is a voluntary choice. You will also learn why I choose not to profit from this book. I am not going to describe the whole book, you have to read it to find out about my life and my addiction(s) and how I fought the demons not only to health and happiness but to financial success. Believe me, I am not a special person, I do not posses special talents,except perhaps   that learned to express myself best in writing but I have advice how to do this also, it is called "reading".
