Patience is a virtue, so I have been told. I must be virtuous because I patiently am waiting for my book, Polynesian Dreams, now available in all the Ebook stores to become a best seller. Well, one can dream, can't one? Go to any library and look at the shelves of books on display. There is something for everybody. We have a new public library in Sun City, a branch from the Riverside Public Library system. It is  beautiful, with lots of books, videos, and easy couches for readers, and row after row of computers for public use. They will even furnish you a set of headphones. I love libraries and I ofter go to do some research on new projects I am working on. I see many folks reading on their tablets or laptops, there is free WiFi at the library. As a sign of the times they now even have E-books on loan, free of charge. I know the trend is towards electronic books, and although Polynesian Dreams is now only available via E-book, I hope that libraries never disappear. Some scifi books predict that the print media, magazines, newspapers and books will eventually be a thing of the past, I hope not. I like the feel of a book in my hands. However, E-books is the future, specially for new authors. I have had so many rejections from literary agents and publishers that I cannot feel sorry for them if they become part of the past. I have had many articles and one book published and even received a $25.00 check from Play Boy one time for a joke I submitted. I also wrote for newspapers and once had a job as editor of a company paper. Enough, write me a comment so I know there is at least one soul who read my blog. I am enclosing a photo from long ago in a school room in my native Holland. Love, Johan. Reading expands the mind. Budding authors, visit www.wavecloud.com, they were great in getting my book in the e-book stores.
